Dissatisfaction with ADHD medication is spurring interest among doctors and parents for a safe and effective non-pharmaceutical treatment for ADHD. A promising new study published December 2008 in a peer-reviewed educational journal finds that ADHD students practicing Transcendental Meditation ™ show marked improvements in attention, focus and learning abilities, along with significant reductions in stress and anxiety. The study shows that ADHD students can successfully learn and practice TM.
